On Thursday, June 15 at 3:45pm, Kentucky State Police in Morehead responded to a fatal accident near the 126 mile marker on I64, outside of Owingsville, in Bath County. Megan Cooper, 26, of Morehead, was operating a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier east bound on I64, when she crossed the median and into the path of a semi-truck operated by 38-year-old Daryl Frosty of Lexington. Cooper was pronounced deceased at the scene by Bath County Coroner Robbie Powell. Frosty was not injured in the accident.
