Kentucky Community and Technical College System President Jay Box announced today the finalists for the position of president/CEO of Big Sandy Community and Technical College. The finalists are Dr. Clifton Elliot, vice president for Academic and Student Affairs at Williamsburg Technical College in Kingstree, South Carolina; Dr. Brian Van Horn, associate provost and dean of Regional Academic Outreach, Murray State University; and Dr. Sherry Zylka, provost of Wayne County Community College District, Detroit. The candidates are scheduled for on-campus visits and interviews July 18 and 19 at the BSCTC Prestonsburg Campus. Candidates will hold forums for the community, students, staff and faculty during these visits.
