The 32nd Annual Van Lear Town Celebration will be Friday August 4 and Saturday August 5. On Friday, attendees can enjoy tours of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle’s Homeplace, and Ghost Tours. Saturday events include a Turkey Shoot, Classic Car Show, Tractor Throw, and Skillet Throwing Contest. Festivities for both days include corn hole tournaments, carnival games, and live music, with performances by Charlie Hall and the Rocky Knob Ramblers, Five Miles From Nowehere, and Sweet Run.
