Motorists can expect long delays on KY 3387 Chanderville Road in Johnson County for the next two weeks as Highway District 12’s contractor repairs embankment failures at milepoints 0.113, 0.242, and 4.295. District 12 Engineer Tim Spencer said that the pneumatic hammer drill used to install the railroad steel that stabilizes the embankment takes up more than one lane of the roadway and is not safe to allow traffic through when the drill is operating. Motorists should be prepared to slow down in the work zone, and observe all signs and flaggers.
