A Laurel County woman was arrested following a trespassing complaint on Sunday, July 30. Regina Griffie, 47, was determined to be under the influence when deputies arrived at the scene. When arrested, she began struggling, kicking both of them. Griffie stated she had taken methamphetamine and Suboxone. She was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication, criminal trespassing, assault, and resisting arrest. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
