Paul Childers will be hitting the stage in the Willard & Lucy Kinzer Theater at the Mountain Arts Center on Thursday, August 17. Continuing the education initiative of the MAC, the Pike County Central Jazz Band, under the director of Matt Moon, will be the special guests and will also take part in Childers’ set as his backing band. Childers will host a workshop on August 16 for district wide high school band students. He will provide a question and answer session, speak on the recording process and music industry, and perform an intimate set.
