The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, along with US Forest Service law enforcement and Fish and Wildlife officials, responded to a complaint at Marsh Branch boat camp around 9:57pm Sunday, July 30. An intoxicated man, identified as Tony Lee Hedges, 47 of Lexington, was allegedly threatening people and attempting to fight individuals as they were retrieving their boats. Hedges was determined to be under the influence, arrested, and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
