Two Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Knox County

On August 3, around 8:40pm, Knox County Deputy John Luttrell investigated a traffic crash that blocked the roadway on KY 1803 north of Girdler. After opening the roadway to traffic, one vehicle did not move. Deputy Luttrell observed the driver and passenger passed out inside the vehicle. Upon investigation, two Suboxone strips, over 100 assorted schedule three controlled substance tablets and a used syringe were located. Williams Sizemore, 52, was charged with DUI, menacing, and trafficking in controlled substance. The passenger, Arthur McVey, 30, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in controlled substance and resisting arrest. They were lodged in the knox County Detention Center.
