Area Closes for Hunting in Eastern Kentucky

The Kentucky Fuel Corporation properties in eastern Kentucky are no longer open to public hunting. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources announced Wednesday, September 20 that Kentucky Fuel’s hunting access agreement is no longer active, returning the property to private status. The change occurred after the publication of the 2017-18 Kentucky Hunting and Trapping Guide. The online version of the guide has been updated. Hunters are asked to respect private property and not trespass.
