Bevin Proclaims September Preparedness Month in Kentucky

In conjunction with National Preparedness Month, Governor Matt Bevin has proclaimed September as Preparedness Month in Kentucky. Kentucky Emergency Management urges Kentuckians to “BE AWARE – BE PREPARED – HAVE A PLAN – MAKE A KIT.” Michael Dossett, director of Kentucky Emergency Management, said now is a great opportunity to remind family, friends, and neighbors of the importance of planning ahead.
