Kentucky’s Fall Fire Hazard Season begins October 1 and will continue through December 15. During that time, it is illegal to burn between the hours of 6am and 6pm in the woods or within 150 feet of a wooded area. Before conducting any outdoor burning, citizens should check with their local fire department and county government to find out about restrictions and local ordinances.
