Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Highway District 12’s Minnie Maintenance crew plans to replace two cross drains in Floyd County beginning Tuesday, October 3 on KY 979, between mile points 14 and 15. On Wednesday, October 4, the crew will move to KY 1426 between mile points 12 and 13. Each road will be closed to all traffic at the work zone site for most of the day. Superintendent Garland Rogers said the crew will start after morning school bus traffic and plane to be finishing before afternoon bus traffic.
