On Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 1:08am, Kentucky State Police in Morehead was notified of a residential fire at 1050 McBrayer Road, Wildwood Trailer Park in Clearfield. Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the scene. After a brief investigation, it was determined that an unidentified person had perished in the fire. The identity of the person is being withheld pending further investigation. No foul play is suspected. The case remains under investigation.
