A Central Kentucky pharmacist, who owned and operated Hometown Pharmacy of Georgetown, has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison, followed by two years of home incarceration as a term of his supervised release, for Conspiracy to Distribute Oxycodone and Money Laundering. Michael Ingram, 37 of Cynthiana, was sentenced on Friday, October 27, 2017. In his July 2017 guilty plea, Ingram admitted to filling forged prescriptions of oxycodone from outside Kentucky. He also admitted the distribution and dispensation of the pill was outside the scope of legitimate medical practice.
