On Wednesday, November 8, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve several warrants for drug trafficking in the Evarts area. The warrants resulted from undercover drug investigations conducted by the sheriff’s office. Five individuals were arrested on drug related charges as a result of the investigation. The arrests included Cody Wynn, 32, of Kenvir; Robert Burkhart, 64; Cindy Anglian, 30; Charles Cole, 44; and Zola Farley, 48, all of Evarts. All five were charged with trafficking controlled substance and more arrests are pending.
