On Saturday, November 11, 2017, around 10:55am, Laurel County Deputies responded to a domestic dispute off Blakely Road. Deputies learned the subject, Ryan Carpenter, 35, had allegedly assaulted a female subject, held her down, and bit her arm. An injury was visible on the victim’s arm. Carpenter was charged with fourth degree assault and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
