On Thursday, November 23, Laurel County deputies responded to a complaint of two subjects chasing each other with baseball bats at a residence off Swiss Colony Lane. When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned a physical altercation had taken place between Ronald Lockaby and a female victim. Lockaby allegedly reached into the victim’s car and choked her to unconsciousness. Lockaby, 45, was charged with assault and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
