Tennessee Woman Arrested for Drugs in Laurel County

Laurel County Deputies arrested a Tennessee Woman in the early morning hours of November 26, 2017. Around 1:40am Sunday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a blue Nissan Altima that was observed to have a headlight out. During the stop, while advising the driver, Brittany Lashea O’Brien, of the headlight, a loaded syringe was noticed in the floor under the occupants feet. She was also found in possession of a baggie containing meth, pills, a glass pipe, Suboxone, and three syringes. O’Brien, 23, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
