New Appointment to Kentucky Oral History Commission

Governor Matt Bevin has made new appointments to the Kentucky Oral History Commission. Betty Philips Howard, of Pikeville, has been appointed to the commission. She is a retired elementary educator. She will serve for a term expiring February 15, 2021. The Kentucky oral History Commission, administered by the Kentucky Historical Society, reaches across the state to record and preserve the diverse stories that are a part of the Commonwealth’s rich and colorful history.
