Hazard Police are currently seeking information on an attempted rape suspect. The attempted rape occurred the evening of Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Backwoods area of Hazard. The suspect is described as a white male, 6’2” tall, a thin build, wearing a black ski mask, a grey or white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and boots. He was last seen on foot in the Backwoods area.
