The Almost Home Shelter Pet Rescue, along with community volunteers, are offering assistance to residents in Perry, Knott, Letcher, and Leslie Counties to keep their pets warm. Those needing assistance with providing their animals a warm shelter can contact the rescue, who will help set up a shelter at no cost to the owner. They also have areas to house young pups through the week to keep them warm. If you need assistance or would like to donate bedding, straw, cedar chips, or plastic, contact the rescue at 606-439-4064 and leave a message.
