Secretary of State Grimes Releases Statement on Dissolving of Commission on Election Intergrity

President Donald Trump has announced that he is dissolving the Presidential Commission on Election Integrity. The president created the commission to combat alleged voter fraud during the 2016 election. As Kentucky’s chief election officer, Secretary of State Allison Lundergan Grimes has remained adamant that Kentucky had not faced any voter fraud. She released a statement regarding the dissolving the commission, saying “ahead of November, we must remain committed to fighting suppressive tactics and securing our elections processes and systems.”
