On Wednesday, January 3, 2018, around 9pm, Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy Jesse Mullins responded to a call of a vehicle wrecked into a ditch at the Meally Church of Christ in Meally. The caller advised that a white care had driven into a ditch in the church parking lot. The caller also advised of hearing gunshots and saw two running around the vehicles chasing each other. Upon arrival, the suspects were still on scene armed with handguns. The individuals were identified as Jonathan Mayhan of Hager Hill and Tatarkoda Baxter of Richmond, KY. Mullins was advised the two had been chasing and threatening each other throughout the day. Both were arrested and charged with wanton endangerment.
