On Thursday, January 11, 2018, the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office arrested six individuals on drug trafficking charges. The arrests were the result from undercover drug investigations conducted by Harlan County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives. Those arrested include Bill Robbins, 61, Paul Swanson, 50, and Tony Engle, 52, all of Cawood; Sheldon Robinette, 40, of Cranks; Adam Teague, 30, of Wallins; and Amanda Elliot, 36, of Harlan. Additional warrants are outstanding and additional arrests are pending.
