A Whitley County murder suspect has been arrested. On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, around 7:12pm, Kentucky State Police Troopers located Jeffery Cole at a residence on Wilson Road in the Williamsburg community of Whitley County. He was arrested and charged with the murder of 55-year-old Curtis Lawson of Siler, as well as domestic violence and fleeing or evading police. Cole, 27 of New York, was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
