A fire occurred Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Jenny Wiley Theatre in Pikeville. The theatre was preparing for the Footlight Theatre’s opening of The Tempest. No injuries were reported, but the stage and set received smoke and water damage. The show is scheduled to open on Friday. February 9, 2018. The Jenny Wiley Theatre is asking the community for donations to offset the costs of repairs and to support their youth program.
