The Kentucky Association for Academic Competition Region 22 Governor’s Cup competition was held at Johnson County Middle School on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Duff-Allen Central Elementary placed as regional runner-up at the event in overall competition, with Allen Elementary placing 5th overall. The two teams also placed 3rd and 4th respectively in both Future Problem Solving and Quick Recall. Floyd County Schools will be represented in every content area at the Governor’s Cup State Finals taking place March 17 through 19 at the Galt House in Louisville.
