On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Governor Matt Bevin appointed James Edward Runyon of Pikeville to the Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Runyon is a loss prevention and safety manager for Lowe’s. He will represent the American Association of Retired Persons and serve for a term expiring July 1, 2020. The Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing advises the Governor and the General Assembly on policies and programs that will enhance the quality and coordination of services for the deaf and hard of hearing.
