Two blood drives will be held in Floyd County on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. There will be a blood drive at the Floyd County Public Library at 161 N. Arnold Ave in Prestonsburg from 9:30am to 11:30am on the Kentucky Blood Center Bloodmobile. The second blood drive will be at Appalachian Wireless at 101 Technology Trail in Ivel from 1:30pm to 4:30pm on the bloodmobile. Donors will receive a “Donate blood, y’all” purple t-shirt. Blood donors must be 17-years-old (16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, show a photo ID and meet additional requirements.
