Kansas Man Arrested for Attempting to Purchase Kentucky Child

Attorney General Andy Beshear announced on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 that a Kansas man who attempted to purchase a Kentucky child has been arrested. Ernest Merle John Anziana, 48, of Fredonia, Kansas, was arrested on February 7 following an investigation from Beshear’s Cyber Crimes Unit. Anziana allegedly attempted to purchase a child for $250 and in exchange for drugs. He will be charged with five counts of use of electronic means to induce a minor for sex and one count of promoting human trafficking with a victim under the age of 18. Anziana is currently awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
