The Perry County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that on February 20, 2018, deputies in the Slemp community of Perry County attempted to serve several outstanding warrants on Austin Salley. Salley was wanted for attempted murder of a police officer, fleeing or evading police, manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful imprisonment, and several other charges. Deputies were able to determine a location on Salley, who attempted to hide from officers underneath a kitchen cabinet. Also at the residence was Jessica Adams, who was arrested for hindering prosecution or apprehension and two outstanding warrants. Both were lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
