The 2018 Big Sandy Idol Regional Competition is coming to the Mountain Arts Center on March 9-10, 2018. Students from local high schools in surrounding counties will compete for a full scholarship to Big Sandy Community and Technical College, a spot in the Big Sandy Singers and Band, and an album recording among other prizes. The Big Sandy Idol programs has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships in its 12 years. Tickets to the 2018 Big Sandy Idol Regional Competition are $13, or $11 for groups of 10 or more.
