On February 7, 2018, the senior Project Lead the Way Biomedical Innovations class from Floyd Central High School attended the Posters at the Capitol event in Frankfort. Madison Turner and Hannah Martin’s poster had been selected to be displayed at the capitol.  The poster was about a study of birth defects in the Appalachian Region. Martin said it was an honor to be part of Poster at the Capitol as they had the only poster chosen from the region. Turner said the project was meaningful as it evaluated a problem in the Appalachian Region.
