Work to repair an embankment failure on KY 588 in Letcher County began Monday, March 19, 2018, and is set to last three to four weeks. Red lights will be set in both directions for traffic control. Flagmen will provide traffic control while drilling, with delays possible lasting as long as 30 minutes during daylight operations. Temporary traffic signals will control traffic flow at night until the work is finished.
