Kentucky State Police Post 9 Pikeville are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on US 460. On Thursday, April 19, 2018, around 10:25pm, KSP Post 9 received a call from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office requesting assistance on a fatal collision which occurred in the Paintsville community. Upon arrival, Troopers determined a male subject was standing in the westbound lane of US 460 when he was struck by a vehicle. Jimmy Craft, 52, of Salyersville, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner’s Office. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Johnson.
