KY 160 at the Gordon intersection in Letcher County will be closed on Monday, April 30, 2018, weather permitting, to allow replacement of a failed cross drain that runs underneath the pavement. The maintenance work zone site is at mile point 1.82 on KY 160. Work will start around 9:30am to allow for school buses and morning commute traffic. The work should be finished around 3:30pm. Superintendent Billy Smallwood apologized for the temporary inconvenience, but said the drainage systems need to be cleaned out and fixed while weather permits.
