On Friday, May 4, 2018, from 9am to 5pm, The University of Pikeville will host a preview of a museum walk-through of more than 60 ancient artifacts from the time of Jesus of Nazareth. The exhibit will be showcased on the seventh floor of the Health Professions Education Building and is open to the public. Admission is free. Artifacts to be displayed include ancient implements of everyday life, weapons, representations of Roman gods, and other artifacts that offer a deeper understanding about the world of Jesus of Nazareth. Exhibit directors Tommy Chamberlain and Abigail Leavitt will be on hand to answer questions. School and church groups are welcome and may reserve a guide by calling 606-422-5952.
