Barbourville Man Arrested Following Theft Investigation

On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Knox County Deputy Claude Hudson arrested 36-year-old Leonard Bradley Warren of Barbourville, charging him with theft by unlawful taking. The arrest was the result of a continuing investigation into a series of thefts that occurred in Knox County during April and May of 2018. As part of the investigation, Deputy Hudson located several stolen items from different thefts at Warren’s residence. A set of cast iron cookware valued over $500 was one of the items located at the residence. The owner was identified by Deputy Hudson. In addition to the theft charge, Warren was charged with possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
