The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on Sunday, June 10, 2018 following a complaint of a subject allegedly creating a disturbance with family and other in the area of Railey Road. The individual, identified as 28-year-old Larry Wayne Israel of Flat Lick, was reportedly yelling and cursing as he walked down the roadway. After being taken into custody and placed into the police cruiser, the subject began hitting his head against the window and attempted to kick Detective Kyle Gray. While being transported, he started spitting on the detective. Israel was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
