Due to changes to the SNAP program, such as the implementation of a “work requirement” for able bodied food stamp participants without dependents, Kentucky Career Center Big Sandy Area CAP career advisors are working with participants to meet requirements. A way that they may meet requirements is by attending workshops. The Kentucky Career Center in Pike County is seeking to put together a calendar of workshops that participants can attend for credit towards their work requirement.
