The Pikeville extension office will be holding a program on understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Issues discussed will be the impact of Alzheimer’s; the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia; stages and risk factors; current research and treatments available for symptoms; and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
