The Virginia State Police are seeking assistance with locating a vehicle involved in a fatal-hit-and run in Lee County. The crash occurred around 9:30pm August 7, 2018, in the Woodway community on Route 638 Hickory Flats Road when 1989 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, operated by 32-year-old Gary Tabor, was struck by another vehicle, striking a utility pole.  He was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries but succumbed to injuries on August 8, 2018. The hit-and-run vehicle is believed to be blue in color and may have damage to either the driver’s or passenger’s front side.
