On Monday, August 13, 2018, around 6:30pm, Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith and Deputy Andrew Lawson responded to a report of a female using drugs on Moore Hill Avenue in Corbin. Sheriff Smith located the female standing outside her vehicle. After making contact with her, 33-year-old Amy Johnson, of Corbin, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. She was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
