The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest after an individual ignored traffic control near a crash site around 12:53am on Monday, August 27, 2018. Nathan Samuel Abner, 19, of Corbin, allegedly nearly struck deputies investigating a non-injury crash and a tow truck driver while driving a black colored Ford Mustang. A traffic stop was conducted and it was learned Abner had an outstanding warrant for arrest. He was arrested and charged with failure to give right of way to emergency vehicle and careless driving. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
