Scioto County Student Arrested for Terroristic Threatening

On Wednesday, February 13, 2019, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Clay School officials regarding a threatening post on social media which initiated an immediate investigation into the matter. The post indicated an assault would take place on Thursday, February 14, 2019. The account was traced back to a juvenile that attends Clay Schools. The 15-year-old juvenile male was detained for questioning and as a result of the investigation was arrested. He was charged with inducing panic and terroristic threatening. He was lodged in the Ross County Juvenile Detention Center.
