Trooper, Officers Make Rescue from Flood Waters in Clay County

On Saturday, February 23, 2019, around 9:44am, Kentucky State Police Post 11 London received a call from Clay County 911 reporting that a vehicle had been swept away while traveling through high rising waters on Chop Bottom Road in Clay County. Trooper Logan Wolfe, along with Manchester Police Officers Ryan Jackson and Jeremy Garrison, responded to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle about 200 feet out in swift-moving water with a female screaming for help. All three officers waded out to the vehicle and discovered three females trapped inside. The officer carried all three females to safety from the vehicle, which was swept away by the current.
