An arrest has been made following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation in Boyd County. Officers and Deputies with the ICAC Unit in Ashland served a search warrant on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the residence of 47-year-old Samuel Beason in Westwood. The subject was charged with unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or prohibited activities, and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Beason was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.
