A press conference was held the evening of Tuesday, March 2, 2019, where Barboursville Police addressed the situation. Charges against the male subject, 54-year-old Mohamed Fathy Hussein Zayan, have not been dropped at this time. Charges against the female witness, the mother of the child, are under review by the prosecutor as well.
