New Initiative to Combat Opioid Epidemic to Launch

The Kentucky Court of Justice is launching a new initiative to help combat the opioid epidemic. The RESTORE initiative will launch with a news conference on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 1:30pm in the Supreme Courtroom at the State Capitol in Frankfort. RESTORE, Responsive Education to Support Treatment in Opioid Recovery Efforts, seeks to provide training and resources for judges, circuit court clerks, and court staff to effectively handle the opioid-related cases. After the news conference, Kentucky judges and court staff will be invited to attend two one-day summits in 2019, which will be offered in each of the seven appellate districts.
