On Thursday, April 18, 2019 around 12:21am, a traffic stop was conducted near the Floyd County School Bus Garage on KY 122 in Martin. During the traffic stop, Martin City Police Officer Jonathan Holbrooks discovered the driver, identified as 41-year-old Melissa Lawson, of Printer, was wanted on two outstanding bench warrants in Floyd County charging numerous traffic violations and driving under the influence. She was arrested and lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center.
